Can you please look up the following:

- Is your wifi greyed out (i.e. not able to open the wifi menu at all) or is it just unable to find networks?

- Lookup under Settings / General / Info the WIFI Address (MAC ADDRESS)

If your wifi is greyed out and/or there is no WIFI Address then there is probably not a problem with your antenna but there is a problem with the WIFI chip.

If your wifi is not greyed out try standing as close as possible to the router to see if you get wifi signal then. If you get it then there could be a problem with your antenna OR the circuit on the logic board going from the WIFI chip to the antenna.

Please let me know the results so I can help you further.

Ok then you probably have a problem on the logic board. If you are certain that the antenna is correct and the connector is in place you might consider reflowing the WIFI chip and the coil next to it.

In the following YouTube video it is explained how to reflow it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7E34y9l49...

ok maybe it is the attanna, its now fluctuating in detecting the network and not detecting

there were problems with the ios 5.x update and greyed wifi which were meant to have been fixed see if you have any earlier ios restores in your itunes library to go back to. You may need to do a jailbreak..https://discussions.apple.com/thread/395...
