The Xiaomi Poco M3 is a budget smartphone which was released in November, 2020 and is equipped with a big 6000 mAh battery block, a tripple main camera and a 6.53 inch IPS LCD.

The phone is not charging or turning on.

Seemed to be taking and holding a charge until last night. Woke up to a dead phone. Any ideas?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

My poco f2 pro had a similar problem. Stopped charging. Seemed to be the usb-c port, but in fact it was the ribbon cable to the USB board (from the battery) that had a bad connection. Opened the ribbon protection plate, cut three-four strips of electrical tape over and tighten the protection plate to give a nice press on the tape/ribbon cable

Apparently it was a little problem for me but to be honest it happened to me after unlocking the bootloader and wanting to install a custom rom.

I could not install any return to the normal version of xiomi

and everything is normal until one day I restart it, I felt it very slow and it did not turn on like 20 min and one day I turned it off and it did not turn on what I did was remove the battery for 20 min and download the same OTA THAT I HAD FLSHED WITH THE XIAOMI TOOL AND THE PROBLEM WAS SOLVED

YOU SHUULD TRY

Troubleshoot your cable, charger, outlet & case

Check that your charger and cable work. Try them with another device. Check that the cable is securely connected to the charger and to your phone. Check that there's nothing in the port of your phone, like dust or lint.

Will

Did you try to use electrical tape over the ribbon connectors? Use three small pieces on both the main board connector and the battery connector.

Google translate:

هل حاولت استخدام الشريط الكهربائي فوق موصلات الشريط؟ استخدم قطعتين أو ثلاث قطع صغيرة على كل من موصل اللوحة الرئيسية وموصل البطارية.

Let the phone rest for at least 4 days then press the power button for 15 seconds. If the phone asks for charge put it on charging and try to on it immediately by force reboot or by just pressing the power button for 1-2 minutes.

Most probably this will on your phone.

If don't put it on charge for 5-6 hours then try to on by force reboot (do this only of non of the steps works)

  1. Take off the rear cover.
  2. Unscrew the rear plastic cover of mother board.
  3. Unplug battery connector and the bigger one next to it.
  4. Wait 15 min.
  5. Press power on button and hold it till the end of the procedure.
  6. Plug in a charger.
  7. After one second plug in the bigger connector.
  8. After one second plug in the battery connector.
  9. Now the Poco should be turned on. You can stop pressing the power on button.
  10. Piece the phone together.
