Samsung UN65MU7500 power issues

I bought the above TV a few years ago, it all of a sudden will not turn on. I have replaced the power supply board and still am not getting any standby light. Does anyone have any other recommendations on how to fix this?

Thanks

Hi @grooobz ,

Have you proved that there is power getting to the TV e.g. checked that the wall outlet is working OK or used a DMM’s (digital multimeter) Ohmmeter function to check that the TV power cord has continuity between the plug and the connection in the TV, you didn’t say?

Since you have replaced the power board check that the standby voltage as marked on the power board is getting to the mainboard. It is the mainboard that turns on the red standby power light when it gets the correct voltage signal from the power board.

If the standby voltage is at the connector on the mainboard then the problem is in the mainboard.

Be safety aware, even though you are testing for low DC voltage there is exposed lethal AC voltage on the power board near to where you will be testing for the standby voltage. If you don’t know how to test safely when AC voltage is present, then don’t do it!
