Are you sure you got the correct one? Ultra ATA/100 (operates at UATA/33 or UATA/66)

Pioneer DVR-K05 slim dual layer Superdrive, Apple P/N DVR-K05PA

You don’t need to alter the SATA drive

So i need to remove the jumpers from the sata drive?

and how to check if i got the correct one?

@supermememaker2 - Leave the SATA drive alone!

Playing with the TV antenna cable won't change the fact the AC cord is not plugged in ;-}

Guess you'll need to get another unit and you might want to get a new cable set as well.
