I can't get my DC07 to switch from wand to floor (nothing clogged)

I can’t get my dyson DC07 to suck on floor mode. It doesn’t fine when using the wand. At first, I could hear it switch over when I pressed the cleaner head down. Now, it never engages but the brush is spinning. I have checked every hose and cleaned every filter. Any suggestions?
