Why is my TV turning off every hour

Turns off every hour almost exactly on the hour.

There are a lot of TVs with sleep-timers or auto off settings. Just look through your menu settings and make sure nothing like that is turned on.
Alternatively, If you have any power saving features on the tv, it may turn off automatically if it doesn't receive input for an extended period of time. But that's just a guess.

Panasonic viera. Stays on for twenty minutes and shuts off with red light flashing off and on six times. Have turned off and pressed power button for 60 seconds and blown out dust from speakers but nothing works.

What devices are connected to your tv?
Does the LED light on the tv flash or are there any other indicators?
