The Dodge Dakota (called the Ram Dakota for its final two years of production) is a mid-size pickup truck from Chrysler’s Ram division (formerly called the Dodge Truck division). The second-generation Dakota began development in 1991, though they were not introduced until 1996 for the 1997 model year.

That generation Dakota was made from 1997-2004. The type of door will depend on the cab style. Regular, Club, and Extended cab doors are interchangeable, however the Quad Cab doors are slightly shorter. Side note, Dakota Quad Cab doors are interchangeable with that generation Durango doors. So just make sure the cab you are salvaging the door from is the compatible size and you should be good!
