Hi @anne0817 ,

What is the model number of the dishwasher?

Are you sure that it is working OK?

A humming sound could be the circulation pump if the sound is there for most of the time during the washing action (not the draining action).

Place both the spray arms in a remembered position and then start the dishwasher. After it has filled allow it to wash for a little while and then open the door and check if the spray arms have moved. Be careful when you open the door to stop the machine. Do it slowly and not very far open initially so that you don’t get wet or have water all over the place.

If they have moved at least this proves that the pump is working and forcing water through the spray arms which causes them to rotate.
