Does 2008 Mac Mini A1283 Use Thermal Glue Or Paste

I recently purchased a second hand 2008 Mac Mini A1283 Australian model the one with no built in Disc Drive

Does it Use Thermal Paste or Thermal Glue.?

If it uses Thermal Glue, is it worth replacing it with Thermal Paste since it is very old?

If it is a yes to replacing the Glue/Paste then what is the safest way to do so.

Video or Picture tutorial Links would be greatly appreciated because i have found no teardowns showing how to safely remove the heatsinks.

I have only found ones that show how to replace the RAM or HDD.

Thank you Dan, I just kind of expected that sort of thing from Apple considering their usual antics, I’m mainly a Windows PC user but have been in need of a Mac to help my friends fix their iPhones for faster trouble-shooting, so Macs are very unfamiliar to me.

Chosen Solution

Thermal paste!

I don’t know of any PC or Mac that would use thermal glue! That is a very permanent solution which would not be desirable.
