MacBook Pro doesn’t turn on after replacing keyboard

The period (.) button wasn’t work on my MacBook Pro Mid 2009 so I decided to replace the keyboard with one I purchased on Amazon. Once I replaced it with the new keyboard, the MacBook Pro doesn’t turn on. All the cables are connected, but once I connect MagSafe adapter, the battery indicator turns on but doesn’t let me SMC. How can I get my MacBook Pro to turn on again.

P.S. it was working before I replaced keyboard.

Answer this question I have this problem too

There are a few possibilities here!

Are you sure you fed the ribbon cable into the logic board connector correctly and fully? Did you flip the latch down so the cable is compressed? Review this guide MacBook Pro 13" Unibody Mid 2009 Logic Board Replacement Step 12. I find a piece of electricians tape can help in guiding the cable in using it as a pull tab. Make sure you don’t damage the latch?
