Power but no display

We have a Samsung WA52M7750a active wear washing machine. Had 2 blankets washing. It stopped. Display said still had 1 hour. Door is locked and could not open it. Pushed the power button and display readings went dark. Door is still locked abs can not open it. It occasionally displays the door locked sign. But will not come on otherwise.

Hi @corirachel7

Press and hold the Spin and Soil level buttons (both together) for 3 seconds and check if this releases the door lock.

Then turn off the machine and disconnect the power for about 5 minutes and then reconnect the power and check if the machine has reset itself and is now working.

Can't find a service manual for the washer but try leaving the power disconnected for 30+ minutes and then reconnecting.

Have read that for top loaders this should reset the washer.

same EXACT problem- right down to the door lock flashes. We managed to get the clothes out, but no luck with repair so far. how about you? did you ever find out what was wrong?

Hi @corirachel7 ,

Unless there are any better answers forthcoming, here’s a link to the service manual for the washer, that hopefully will get you out of trouble. The downside is that you have to pay for it.
