Display distorted after falling down

After falling down the display is distorted. Connecting external screen provides full functionality. The hinge on the right side has more movement than one on the left side. Screen is holding up in any position and can be closed.

Ouch! The displays T-CON logic has failed. I bet you hit the bottom edge of the lid which is where the T-CON board is located in this series.

Sadly, the display is no longer made so all you’ll find is used displays and are becoming harder to find and also go for a pretty penny! Here’s one source 13” Retina MacBook Pro Display Assembly, Apple P/N 661-7014 But don’t wait to long as they tend to go quickly!
