Hi,

What is the make and model number of the sewing machine?

Sorry! That info would have been helpful. It’s a Bernini Record 930 Electronic. Thanks!

That seems quite a niche market. On the bottom of the pedal there should be a type number lik 'Type 213' or 'Type 290'. Which one do you have?

Hi,

Don’t know about this machine but here’s the presser foot section from the service manual for a Bernini 930 that may help you to see what’s going on.

To check if the adjustment on your machine is correct you may have to improvise as I cannot find the “feeler gauge” mentioned in the manual but maybe you can place a 7.5mm object under the presser foot as described.

Sorry that I can’t be of more help on this.

I will try suggestions and let you know in a few days. The machine is my Mom’s. Thank you!
