After repair iMac fans spin but no display and no chime.

I replaced the HDD with an SSD (formatted) reassembled everything in its bare state, it turned on and chimed. I fully reassembled it, fans ramped up but nothing on the screen. Checked all connections. Reseated GPU and CPU. Reset SMC. No beeps. Nothing. If you’re curious, there were 2 lights on, one indicating that power was connecting, the other indicating it was powered on.

Please help!

Found out that the 3rd light means that the computer is communicating with the GPU which the 3rd light is not on. I’m looking into buying a new GPU for it so I’ll see if that fixes anything.

After a motherboard swap and a GPU swap, the iMac still doesn't turn on, it just does what it did earlier, fans spin, no chime, nothing showing on screen.

You didn’t re-assemble it correctly.
