how do i turn this on so people i call can see my number as people aren’t answering my calls because its showing as a private number

Hi,
The Caller ID feature is usually a subscription service provided by the landline phone service provider. Caller ID is usually free on mobile phone services but not on landline phone services
Have you checked that your phone service has this feature connected? Unless it was automatically provided as part of the service it should show up in the phone bill as an extra payment.
Each provider has their own specific dialing code for how the user can turn the feature on or off on their phone service.
If you’re sure that you should have the feature then go to your landline service provider’s website and search for how to turn Caller ID on and off or search online for turn on Caller ID (insert landline service provider’s name).
If dialling the code doesn’t work then contact your landline phone service provider and ask if it has been connected to your phone service
