Washer just went to a dead stop after filling with water

Washer is top *Welllp I dunno whats wrong with my washer machine but a few weeks ago I threw in a load of laundry while it was filling with water ….. afterwards when it was almost done filling I threw in a tide pod ( rushed when I did ) but the tide pod didn’t go in the inner washer ( where the water / clothes are located ) but right behind the outta washer part right in the crack ….I didn’t bother grabbing it because there’s no way I can see it and didn’t wanna fuse about it …. but as soon as it was done filling not even a few minutes it made a loud nose and shut offf ! Haven’t made a sound since !!!! Tried the plug thingy still didn’t work !!! Please help !
