Right channel is dead on my Play 5 (gen1). What to do?

Right channel is dead but all other works. Is there anything to do? Where to by spare parts?

Just my suggestion, open up and check if the speakers are working well.

You will need to swap over and check if the speakers are okay.

if there is sound, you will need to replace the defective speaker, else if there is no sound still after you had swapped, probably there is some issues at the right speaker output, which you need to trace further on the circuit.a

Yes, that´s a good point. I will do that, but I don´t think that´s the problem. I believe i could be the power amplifier.

Then a new problem occur, where to by spareparts?


@claes can be real tricky to get parts, if it is on the circuit.

need schematics and some electronics knowledge to follow up.

dun think sonos will directly sell this part also, either check at ebay, etc for parts but can be risky too, other faults / issues
