Sticky Spacebar - Any Way to Clean it?

I had a little spill of monster energy drink on my 2020 Four Thunderbolt Port MacBook Pro that I’ve been so careful with since I bought it new. Everything seems fine, I cleaned it very quickly and thought it was good, but the spacebar just feel spongy now. It’s not the nice tactile feel it should have with the new magic keyboard. Are there any good guides on how to remove the keys/spacebar to give it a thorough cleaning for this model??

Answer this question I have this problem too

Popping off the space bar is a bit tricky! so be careful.

Using a few cotton swabs (Q-Tips) and some distilled water. Slightly dampen the swab (not to wet! As you don’t want the liquid to go deeper in) wipe the inside surfaces down where the key was and rinse under the tap with warm water the loose parts fully drying the parts before you re-install.
