Will an update brick my XS after I replaced the screen?

I want to know if I can update it after I replace the screen. I know Apple made sure an update will brick the phone after I replaced the screen with a 3rd party screen. But I heard that they took out this “feature”. Will my XS be bricked or not?

Your phone will not be bricked after a screen replacement. You can update or restore without any problems.
