How do I replace the ribbon cable in the Pixel Slate folio keyboard?

The Pixel Slate Folio keyboard appears to get wear on the ribbon cable in the flexible hinge. It would be nice to be able to replace the cable.

I'm having a connection issue as well. I was looking for a tear down so I can try to repair it myself without irreparably damaging the keyboard. Let me know if you found something.
