Where can I buy and how do I change my monitor in HP Elitebook 2530p

My monitor is damaged (glass cracked). It still works but has many areas where only one color or nothing can be seen. Where can I buy a replacement? How do I build it in?

Hi @clemens_01 ,

Here’s the maintenance and service guide for the laptop.

Go to p.73 to view all the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to remove/ replace the display assembly.

Also on p.73 you will find the part numbers for the 2 types of 12.1-inch, WXGA AntiGlare display assemblies available for the model i.e. 492576-001 - with webcam, 492575-001 - without webcam

Search online for suppliers by typing the appropriate to your particular model part number only in the search box of your browser.

If you wish to verify that you’re ordering the correct part, usually the part number can be found printed on the back of the panel somewhere.
