What is this weird tube?

We opened up this machine to inspect the internals and found this strange tube floating freely inside the system. It was completed detached from any other component and was free to move and slide around inside the machine. Does anyone know what this is or why it was in this machine? I’ve attached three pictures of the object.

Alright, I think I figured it out. The loops around the green tube are the same kind of loops you see highlighted in this picture.

There’s also a peel-able adhesive strip on the back, so my guess is this is something the manufacturer sometimes uses to apply those little loops. May have been a leftover piece that accidentally fell into the machine.

Yes! That's an EMI gasket! The tube is pulled out after its mounted. Clearly it was dropped in by mistake!

Unless I’m missing something, I don’t see it present in this breakdown:

From the looks of it, I honestly have no idea what it would be doing inside a PC. Curious to see what it turns out to be but I wonder if someone it was an accidental inclusion from the vendor or someone who worked on it previously?
