Hi @ishaan2809,

Try connecting an external monitor to the laptop (TV via a HDMI cable perhaps) and check if there is a display on it.

Use the keyboard "switch display" function key to toggle between the display on the laptop only, the external monitor only or both on together.

With the laptop on try shining a torch at an angle close to the screen to check if there are any images on the screen. They will be very faint if they are there so trying this in a darkened room may help to see them. If you can see them then there is a backlight problem.

The screen might remain black when there is a corrupted graphics driver or a problem with the LCD display back light. You can just attach an external monitor to test the display. If an image displays on the external monitor, there might be a graphics driver conflict with the notebook LCD display.

You can also try a hard reboot, remove the battery and unplug it's AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds then boot it back up and see if it will load normally.
