Battery Connector damaged on board

As you can see in the photo, the battery connector on the logic board was damaged during disassembly. The edge of the plastic connecter and clip, red arrows, were broken during removal. Anyone have any suggestions on a fix for this problem? The socket is still connected to the logic board, but the plastic retaining clip is damaged.

Appreciate any advice.

Here’s one source for the part FF14A-6C-R11DL-B-3H It’s the same connecter!

I would recommend you find someone with the correct tools and micro soldering skills as this needs special care to remove the old part and install the new one without killing the logic board.

My suggestion is go to a microsoldering tenician to get that fixed… If you try to do it your self it might caused more damaged. Good luck.

Dan provided the source for the connector. Unless you really professional with micro soldering skill I would suggest you to just go to yelp and search micro soldering near you, many will give you free quota for price estimate and you can compare the shops based on their reputation and price to decide which one you are going for. Good luck.
