Why cant I restore my phone?

It fell in a pool and was dried in rice for several days. Now when I try to restore it, I get an unknown error (1). Can anyone give me some ideas how to restore it.

Or you could use this as a guide (even so it is for the 3G) and clean it out the way you should. Use the step-by-step guides (listed below the picture of the iPhone to the right of this page) to disassemble your phone. After you do that, and have changed the battery, reevaluate and see what you got. Good Luck

I wold take it apart wash it with distilled water and tooth brush. let it dry 100% without rice while it's all apart then put it back together.

Or you could use Isopropyl alcohol, faster drying and cleans better ;)
