Cant figure out what this is in my Lens

Hi guys i have a AF-P DX NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3G ED Lens and there is a small bronze piece loose in the lens that i cannot figure out what it is. I dont think it is affecting my photos but i am fairly new to photography so please help and tell me if i need to get this fixed right away. Photo attached as well

The copper is actually a ribbon cable. It is used to transfer data while you zoom or focus/ move the lens. It may just be out of place or may become damaged and break. You could pay Duh to repair but how much will it cost vs getting a replacement. This is not a high end lens.

"Duh" means of course get it fixed, that it is obvious.

O.K you google Nikon service and where you live.

You shouldn't have trouble finding one in New York.

Oh and I thought some of your photos were quite good.
