Raman multani this "it says reboot and select proper boot device" sounds like your computer can't find an OS or the HDD. You checked your RAM? Reseated it as well? What have you checked? Can you get into your BIOS?

by

Hey thanks for the reply sometimes i get into the bios but sometimes not it usually not work all the time

by

@Raman multani that would mean it is not a video issue but a processing issue. Make sure everything is properly wired, processor properly seated, Ram modules properly seated etc. Double check your HDD connection as well as function. It is a new HDD or SSD depends on what you are using?

@oldturkey03 it's a new ssd brand new build. So when I'm shorting the power pins using a screwdriver sometimes it shows a display but most of the time it wont. Whenever it output a display my keyboard light turns on. What can I do now please ?

Raman multani why would you have to do this "So when I'm shorting the power pins using a screwdriver" Does your power supply not come on with the power button?

Try resetting the BIOS back to default by using the CLRMOS1 jumper as shown on p.24 of the user manual

Try connecting a system speaker (see image) to the header pins (see p.26 Chassis Intrusion and Speaker Header 7-pin SPK _ C I1 -see p.6, No. 11) and listen for the beep error codes when starting. (red wire to +5V pin)

The following are AMI BIOS Beep error codes that can occur.

Number of beeps:

1 beep - short Memory refresh timer error.

2 beeps - short Parity error.

3 beeps -short Main memory read / write test error.

4 beeps - short System timer failure.

5 beeps - short Process error.

6 beeps - short Keyboard controller BAT test error.

7 beeps - short General exception error.

8 beeps - short Display memory error.

9 beeps - short ROM BIOS checksum error.

10 beeps - short CMOS shutdown Read/Write error.

11 beeps - short Cache Memory bad.
