How to fix female RJ45 flap that's present on thin laptops to fit RJ45

So my laptop is thin so in order to fit a RJ45, it’s entrance is expandable and by using it normally, it broke both in half and the two little wings that hold it in order to not fall, so i used some tape and it works but it’s inconvenient is there any way to reattach that to the laptop? it’s separate in two and the things that hold it in broke in one of the sides. Edit: it’s a samsung laptop it’s model is 550XBE/350XBE

I had the same thing happen years ago.

Keep it simple and just get a USB to Ethernet adapter.
