Why does my Saeco Classico blows house fuse?

My Saeco Classico espresso maker was working fine and suddenly developed a problem, namely as soon as it is switched on, it breaks the circuit in my house. I have opened it up, and all the wires and connections look clean and intact, I can stop the problem by disconnecting the wire going to the heating element. Not sure how to further diagnose or what to replace.

Answer this question I have this problem too

C. Ronald Kahn this “disconnecting the wire going to the heating element “ could be the part that shortens the circuit. I suggest that you check the resistance across the heating element (I’d expect a resistance between 5 and 25 Ohms). Let us know what you find. Also, post some good pictures of your Saeco parts etc. with your QUESTION so we can see what you see.
