Wiggly charging port, only sometimes charges

Hello, I’ve had this Vivobook 15 for a bit over a year now. I use it a lot and am constantly on the go with it, recently the dc port has been loose. The cord is fine, but when I plug it into the dc in its awfully wiggly and will only sometimes charge. The laptop itself is plastic, and I’m wondering if I’ve warped the plastic around the charging port. It is able to charge to full and that battery has seemed fine.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Querps this “the dc in its awfully wiggly “ would most likely be the charging port itself, not the plastic around it. Depending on your exact model the charging port may be available as a wired connector, or it may be soldered to the motherboard which is most likely (i.e. model X542B X542BA X542BP X542CP). You’d have to disassemble to verify and repair.

Isn't one of those models but it does seems to be soldered on. I'm guessing that makes this a bit more complicated. Thank you.
