My drill a DWD110K type 2 similar to the 112 will not run when the tri

Thanks for answering my last question but I want to be sure of the repair and parts but could the fact that my drill won’t start when pressing the trigger be the trigger as well as the brushes? Is there a test to determine if it’s the brushes or trigger or both?

Off-and-On Use

Switches-

Wearing power switches will cause off-and-on use as their connections wear down, sometimes requiring several pulls of the trigger before the tool starts up.

Brushes-

Wearing or damaged brushes can cause a similar off-and-on use problem, but this is usually because wear, damage, or a "burr" formation is preventing the carbon brush from correctly contacting the armature's commutator.

If your brushes are pushed firmly against the motor armature and have no burrs and the contact wires are okay it is unlikely that the brushes that have failed.
