starts to blink 6 times on the led light

Hello LadyTech!

I also have an LG lfx31925ST. I already performed the mentioned test on CAPACITOR.COM.POWER and it show up to 230 volts, then when I pluged the contact it starts to blink 6 times on the led light, then compressor and condenser fan stops working, and a few minutes later fan & compressor starts again. Fridge makes noises like shhhgggg like humming and like liquid running, then fan makes a noise like if something hited and then compressor stops the noises...what can be the culprit?? Thanks in advance :)

Juan, unplug refer. Is the condenser fan next to compressor spinning freely? Are the coils dirty? Is the compressor hot to touch? If ok you need to Ck the capacitor specs. 18uf using the uf setting on meter. Put a lead on con201 pin A and the other lead on pin B. The word CAP or CAPACITOR is by these pins. You should have about 18uf. If ok then you need a compressor.

6 led blinks is compressor overload. Either air flow at condenser is restricted-dirty coils or fan n/w properly. Compressor will try to restart every 6 min. If compressor is hot due to high ambient temp or no air flow it will cut off. If all tests are good then the compressor failed and is overheating or something seized internally.
