Why won’t my display work?

I have a kenwood and the little red light on the left lights up so I’m pretty sure it has power but the display is completely black. I don’t know what to do? Yes I’ve tried resetting it.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Have you checked that both the power supplies to the radio have power?

Here’s an image of the connections to your model showing that there are two power feeds to the radio, one from the ignition key circuit and the other a direct feed to the radio via a fuse.

You may have to locate the fuse and check and if they’re OK make sure that power is on the red and yellow wires of the radio wiring harness.

If it is OK to there then the radio will have to be opened and further inspected.

Here are the ifixit Kenwood KDC-BT362U Repair guides which may help with that.
