Hi,
Do you mean the air-con filter dryer? (also known as the receiver)
Here’s an image taken from the 1994 Toyota Mk3 Camry Repair Manual Air Conditioning System section showing the location of the air-con receiver. The 1996 Vista is basically the same as a Toyota Camry of the same year model range i.e 1992-1996.
On p.AC-45 it shows the removal procedure for the receiver.

If you meant the cabin air filter then research online shows that there isn’t one.

Do you have the manual? Refer to that.
Otherwise, it should be behind the glovebox assembly.
