Bluetooth doesn't work, just forever spinning

Hi iFixit,

I recently repaired the screen of a broken iPhone X using your site, super helpful! The only thing that doesn’t seem to work now is the bluetooth, as it’s just stuck spinning. I’ve tried everything to fix it, but I think it’s a hardware issue.

I bought the top right bluetooth flex to see if replacing that would solve it, but I can’t find instructions for it anywhere. Please can you point me in the right direction?

If that doesn’t work, then I imagine it’s a motherboard soldering problem. Any idea where I could get instructions for that also, as this will be my first time doing it.

Appeciate any help!

Hi Carlo.

Have you tried resetting your network settings? If not, try that first.

The WiFi/Bluetooth antenna is located under the front camera, see this link at step 11:

iPhone X Disassembly

Before doing anything try to reconnect the flex cable and see if it fixed your issue.

If this is your first time doing iphone logic board level repair I'd highly advise you not to. The components in question are microscopical.
