I recently asked about a ground electrical wire I could not place, but when I reviewed the step by step photos offered in one of the ifixit programs, I discovered that the ground wire is to be attached to the cover of the machine that has a funnel-like structure. So, thanks to the one who provided the step by step program with still photographs.
