When I touch the phone/text icon the screen back to home screen

I have the same basic problem. When I touch the phone or text icon on my android (BLU) the screen blinks back to the home screen and can't use the phone, access contacts, or text. What can I do? I need my contacts.

What is the model number or name of the phone?

Try wiping the cache partition and see if that resolves the problem.

If you can’t get into the phone’s recovery menus using the procedure in the link, search online for Blu (insert phone model name or number) wipe cache partition to find the procedure for your particular model.
