SOLVED: Washer is Bouncing around - Kenmore Elite HE3 Washing Machine

Washer is Bouncing around

I've tried to balance the washer - one of the foot screws isn't really moving up or down... but it's almost nearly perfect (barely off).

Started the washer and on the spin cycle it bounces all over the place. I was told it might be the drum? Is this something I can trouble shoot or do I need a repair person? (if it's something as simple as taking a panel off and adjusting something - I can do that... if it's replacing a major part - a pro should do it)

Any suggestions?

Options

Jessika, you might want to check to see if you find any obvious problem with the springs or other support items. If you do not see anything obvious, I would think that your most likely problem will be the shock absorber. A diagram as well as parts are available right here. Good Luck and let us know how it is going.

Thank you for your help! Found out from reading other posts that there is a filter inside the washer and when it was taken out - there were 2 socks stuck inside!!! Much appreciated!
