How to remove Agitator from my Kenwar stackable washer agitator from my Kenwar stackable washer MODEL 41761712510 An article of clothing is trapped underneath

@palermocarolyn there is a plastic cap (1) in the center of the agitator. Use a flat-tip screwdriver to simply pop that cap off. Under that cap is a screw (2) that holds the agitator (wash-plate(3)) down. Remove that screw and pull hard on the agitator to remove it. Not sure if it has ever come off. If not, it may just be stuck on it. Try to spray some lubricating oil like WD40 or similar in that are. It may take multiple attempt and a stuck agitator can be a bit of a bear to remove.
