Why does my iMac get really hot?

My iMac gets really hot to the touch. However it still runs. Im currently using a fmc fan to keep it cool

You should run the on board diagnostics to see if any errors pop. Restart the system pressing the D key to enter.

I would also encourage you to install TG Pro so you can monitor your systems thermal sensors to see what area is getting to warm. Take a snapshot of the full listing of the sensors and post it here for us to see Adding images to an existing question

@shonuff_king - The snapshot of TG Pro doesn't show anything excessive. If you click on the 'Show Main Window' we would have gotten high water marks which would have been useful. Take another snapshot when the system is running hot and post that.

Did you run the onboard diagnostics? Any errors?

Cleaned the fans out? Replaced the thermal paste?

Don’t know if it has an air filter, but maybe also clean that out as well.
