Will a bad charge port cable cause static noise in the speakers?

I just had a charge port flex cable soldered to the board in a iPad 6 because it was not charging. Now it’s charging great, BUT I’m getting static in the speakers. After replacing both speakers I’m still getting the static noise. I know the connectors to the speakers are on the charge pot cable. What could cause the static noise? Could it be a defective charging port flex cable?

Thanks!

Try another power cord? Or are you saying it could be that the charging port flex cable I just had soldered in is bad?
