iMac Shuts Off When Seating Display Back into Frame

The power supply went bad in the Imac so I replaced it. The computer will boot with no problem now until I set the display back into its proper location. Even having it tilted out 2 inches it will work until I set it all the way back and then it shuts off. When everything is connected to the display all 4 led’s light up on the logic board and the screen works. Even with the screen completely disconnected from the motherboard it will shut off as I place it back into the frame!? I can disconnect the display completely and run the computer off of an external monitor. I’ve checked for loose cables and cannot reproduce this until I put the screen back in. Very strange situation! Any help is greatly appreciated!

The display might be pinching some cables, or unplugging them slightly. It also could be shorting out in bare metal somewhere.
