How to fix thin black lines on LED TV?

This started at first with one line, but now it has two. The lines don’t go all the way across the TV, they stop halfway. I have a 4K UHD HISENSE ROKU TV WITH HDR (2019) 50" Class - R6 Series Model: 50R6E1.

I have same problem, 2 black horizontal lines on bottom of the screen both are 1 inch apart. Since it is very thin and at the bottom so planning to continue with it instead of repair which may exegrate it further.

Need expert opinion that will it deepen with passage of time or remain same. I got same lines 2 weeks before

@wahleeyousafzai Those are commonly errors created by the Gate drivers (horizontal lines). you can always check the driver boards for failed componentes or burned traces. Those boards can't be replaced by common DIY'ers yet.

Hi, @lala05

Were you able to find a solution for this problem?

I'm having the same problem here: black thin lines:

Mines doing the same thing. Ok so what I noticed on mine is on the back of the TV where the lines popped up (the bottom of the screen). On the left bottom , almost corner has a "compartment" it seems like a screw is loose. I haven't messed with it yet ,but I will later today and update if I have any results.

Just a quick update: I sent my TV to repair a few months ago. They said they had to change the entire screen (thankfully I didn't have to pay lol it's something expensive). They also said this is a common thing for LED TVs. Sometimes just happens. Now is working just fine.

A bad cable, or a cable that is not securely fastened to the input/output ports, can disrupt the signal and cause horizontal or vertical lines. Verify that the cable in use is secured correctly at both the external device and the TV.

If you knock on the back of the TV, the vertical colored lines MAY disappear temporarily. This is a sign that a cable is loose or the T-Con board is faulty.

@v3nuo definitely not a T-con board issue. Those are commonly errors created by the Gate drivers (horizontal lines)
