I replaced the battery, then tested the phone before I put the outside seal on, then when I put everything back together and turned the phone on the phone couldn’t register touch.
I have an iPhone 6s Plus

After removing batteries there are some chances that phone can’t remember the owner’s signature of fingerprint

To Sanjeev: I mean a touch problem like touching the screen, not the fingerprint sensor. Should I try to connect the old battery back in? Don’t think that would change much

Even though it would require replacing the seal again, I would recommend checking the cable for the digitizer, and making sure that it is securely connected.
