Can I just swap the motherboard from a broken phone to a good one?

I busted the screen on my iPhone 4 16gb but have bought a nice used 8gb for parts (that works great). What’s the minimum I can swap over to keep the 16gb capacity and all my info and stuff? Can I just move the logic board over to the good 8gb phone?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Storage is attached to the motherboard, if you change the board it will be the storage on that board, you can backup your old phone and restore on the other one to keep your information.
