Samsung S6 won’t turn on only showing (white led)

Block Image

I’ve tried most key combos. I’m going to take this explanation from DroidGuy because it matches my exact problem. “I have a Samsung Galaxy S6. I had it hooked up to the charger all night, woke up the next morning, saw that the battery icon was full and green. When I went to turn it on, the whole screen went black and I have not been able to get it running again since. I tried all the troubleshooting there is, still nothing. The only thing that happened is a solid white LED light.“ The phone has a lot of sentimental value to me and it’s not an option to take to the store help?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

I have this problem on the s6 edge+. phone boots up and after a minute it freezes and then shuts down or restarts with the white led on. Cannot use it for more than a minute unless i constantly engage the digitiser(by drawing a 0 on the screen or in a pencil erasing motion). So i’m guessing this issue could be a display shorting or something related to the display connector.

Hi... I have the same issue ... but in desperation I banged it a little then it worked for few hours and now it’s back to the white solid light ... I tried the same trick again and it is just stuck at the Samsung boot up screen. Frustrated ... wonder if someone can help please as I also have a lot of memories saved up in that phone and I don’t want to completely erase it until I have the memories backed up. Any help please ?

After you turn on the phone, you don't need to do anything. After a period of time, the device may be able to boot normally. This is one method I have tried.

It happened to me now and it happened previously. Just wait for the charging to end and then it will open

This problem is related to a hardware issue.

Could range anything from NAND/UFS failure or issues with the RAM or anything.

Samsung hasn't documented anything on this.

I'm still working out what it could mean.
