A1708 SSD in a A2159

I have an A1708 with waterdamage (deemed unrepairable). I want to take out the SSD and place it into an A2159 (2019) to retrieve the data and wipe it.

Does it fit?

Sadly no,

Your Fn model was the last removable SSD retina system. All newer MacBook Pro’s use soldered in drives. There is no means to connect the SSD internally or even externally.
