Repair information and guides for the iPhone 6 that was released on September 19, 2014. Model Numbers: A1549, A1586, and A1589

Diagnostic question; trouble shooting

Iphone 6 with vertical lines; need a new screen? I tried to use Recovery Mode to see if restoring the phone would help. I can’t restore. I get errors. Do the two things (vertical lines on screen & the error in recovery mode) have anything to do with each other, or should I just proceed to fix the screen?/

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

What are the error numbers?

Here are the error messages I got when I used recovery mode. [image|2181747] [image|2181746].

Edit: does not look like my photos of the error worked. First one said "there is a problem with the iphone that requires it to be updated. "The second one said "the software for the iphone was corrupted during download. " I tried it several times. Perhaps the recovery mode has nothing to do with the screen issue.

You can try checking the connections for damage, get a magnifying glass and check for bent or missing pins. If they are fine clean the connectors with a qtip and alcohol and a soft brush. If that doesn't fix your problem replace the screen. You can get a good aftermarket screen for 15 dollars.
