Xbox keeps powering of by it self..

My dads Xbox just stared powering off by itself a long time ago we never got around to fixing it. When we start it up it works fine but after about a minute or two it shuts of by itself and really starts bugging. But yeah I’ve never asked the internet so i thought it would help.
