Does anyone know how to disassemble a Jabra Evolve 75?

The mini-USB port on my Jabra Evolve 75 is damaged so I cannot charge the device. I can’t figure out how to get the device apart in order to see if I can replace the port. The device looks similar to the Evolve 65 but is just different enough to make it a mystery on how to take it apart.

Yes, see Vladimir’s response. It worked perfectly.

Instead on the OPPOSITE side from the one you are showing on the photo you will notice a small Torx t5 screw.

Unscrew that one, and one that side will popup. The opposite side comes off by lifting up the orange speaker holder slowly to around 30 degrees and it simply unhooks. the speaker wires are very tiny so don’t pull too hard.

the rest of the stuff is held in place with Torx t6 self tapping screws into plastic, INCLUDING the back cover. once you take those off you have access to all boards and wires.

@kurt.van.veen were you able to get the headset to charge again? I cant see any responses for some reason

No. I destroyed the mini-USB port long before I opened it up and it was clear that there is no way to replace the port... at least nothing I could tackle. My set was still under warranty and Jabra sent me a replacement.

@kurt.van.veen ah ok. thanks for that. Pretty sure I'm in the same boat. Not so sure I can get a warranty at this point though
